Gitouju

Gitouju - The younger brother of Gitou, a hero from The Legend of the Tainted, from a young age he was facinated with the stories his brother told, and saw it fit to create the book, "The Legend of the Tainted". Shortly after that however he was caught up in an adventure himself, full of both light and darkness, friends and foes. Through all the trials him and his friends went through he was able to finally confess his love to his childhood friend and rival, Uta.

Uta

Uta - Being the daughter of the powerful demon Kaijin and the ruthless sword fighter Renu (Legend of the Tainted), it really is no suprise that this girl is tough and has a mouth to match. She grew up with Gitouju, having fell in love with him when she was still very little, but always kept her feelings hidden behind insults and beatings. Dispite all her verbal hatred of him, uta was always there for Gitouju, expertly fighting along his side with her demonic powers and multiple daggers.

Uta - Venom Possessed Form

Tsutachi

Tsutachi - Hailing from a village deep within the treacherous northern mountains, tsutachi can be seen as an innocent young man, his eyes long faded away. However, he is also the holder of powerful holy magic that has been passed down to him through generations. The person he falls in love with is oddly enough, a painter by the name of Ming Lao.

Natsu

Natsu - Natsu is a young Soul Guardian who's village was destroyed by humans that hated and misunderstood them. This might have been the best thing that happed to her however. Because if she had not been forced to leave that place and wander the forests, she probably never would have met the young and handsome brothers, Kuroshi and Hatari when their souls still belonged to them. Natsu is shy and timid, scared of most anything that shows the slightest bit of danger. It was not until long after she met Kuroshi, that they came into contact once again, needing her help to regain their souls with her power to communicate with and call upon souls of the dead.

Natsu - Feline Soul Guardian Form

Yabeshi

Yabeshi - The Wonderfully sexy son of the also wonderfully sexy Yamashi, he like his father also joins the adventure unwillingly, forced by both of his parents with the hopes that he might find a wife on his journey. Although stubborn, conceded, rude, and above all else just obnoxious, he manages to find love in the most unlikely place. Music is the key that provides him with all his powers.

Leiko

Leiko & Taiisuke - Leiko came across Yabeshi and the rest one day by chance.. when she pickpocketed Yabeshi of all his money. Enraged by the fact, he chased her down and was going to force her to return it when he discovered she only did it to feed her son. Ever since then, he made it his duty to give them a better life. Both she and her little boy were reluctant to accompany everyone, or let anyone into their hearts, especially Yabeshi. As time passed, they grew more and more attached to their friends, not wanting to leave them for even the best village that would take them in.

Taiisuke - Leiko's son

Kuroshi

Kuroshi - Older brother of Hatari... the infamous "souless brothers" were once tools to kasuren, until fate decided to reunite him with Natsu, the only one that could possibly help him and his brother, he is forced onto the journey because of this one matter, and finding something greater then even his soul...

Ming Lao

Ming Lao - This half Chinese half Japanese painter joined the group very quickly after meeting Tsutachi. She was truely as kind and caring as she was beautiful, always doing her best to be cheery and helpful with the others. Since her love was blind, Ming spent much of her time discribing her paintings to him, though her Japanese was lacking at times, and crafting special layered paintings so that he could feel them. Her paint and brushes were also the basis of her fighting skills.

Hatari

Hatari - Younger brother of the infamous "souless brothers" he is usually the talker among the two, and keeps warm feelings even with his soul gone. He falls in love with yuride almost immediatley, yet holds off from telling her because of the absence of his soul, he eventually overcomes this fear and fights to gain what he is missing.

Aruna

Aruna - Definately the most antisocial of the group, Aruna kept herself away from everyone until they really needed her, but Taguchi changed all that for himself. From then on she stuck by his side, dealing with his strange obsession with roleplaying during the most intimate of times, and growing to like it. Her right arm possesses the ability to drain the evil energy from any object though causing her pain until she forcbly removes it.

Taguchi

Taguchi - The odd farmer who spreads the serum he invented to help local villages that experience famine, there is definitley more then meets the eye to him. When he falls in love with Aruna, she discovers the odd fact that before he has sex he must do one thing: roleplay.

Yuride

Yuride - Yuride is a great and powerful fighter that.. isn't so great.. or powerful, but that doesn't mean she doesn't try. Uta and Hatari saved her from being killed during a fighter's tournament, and she tagged along after them every since. Like Hatari did with her, Yuride fell deeply for him almost right away, yet Kasuren ripped them apart nearly immediately, making their road to finally being together a hard and complicated one.

Baby Haru - Natsu and Kuroshi's Daughter

Haru - Little Haru had a very rough beginning. She was taken from her mother soon after she was born by the wicked Kasuren, but was thankfully 'rescued' by Touki just to piss him off. Soon after being stolen for the second time, she was then really rescued by her parents, Natsu and Kuroshi, making their family finally complete.

Grandpa Yu - Water God

Grandpa Yu and Yu Jr. - The two water gods that have watched over their forest for thousands of years they are defintley no friends of Kasuren's and help whenever they can. When Yu. Jr. is ready to experience the world he was hidden away from for so long however, that is the biggest challenge for the young god, and perhaps it is also when he finds his greatest reward in the form of Seiko.

Yu Jr. - Water God

Seiko - Leiko's Sister

Seiko - Seiko is the older sister of Leiko who became a famous travelling performer in dance. Dispite being so very popular among the men, she only wants to find a man that didn't want her for her fame and loved her for the woman she is. In other words, an absolute perfect match for the unexperienced Yu Jr.

Suijun

Suijun - One of the planes travelers that goes back and forth between the many thousands of planes there are, it is definitley impossible to guess at what his age is, what race he is, and anything else really. He really is a mysterious guy ^_-

Polochi

Polochi - Not coming into the story until much later on, or even having a big role, Polochi still left a big impression. Everyone found her in the middle of her search for a mate, but unfortunately for her, all the men had already been taken. that is, all but the mysterious Plane travelling Suijun. Seeing this, she automatically claimed him for her own, ready for him to father as many children she could get him to help her make..

Kasuren - Lord of the Lower Plane

Lord Kasuren - A spawn of the purest form of hatred, evil, and corruption he is the most terrible of the terrible and is only concerned with the suffering of others. He takes delight in the many different "games" he sends the heroes through, and is one of the most powerful entities of the lower plane.

Touki

Touki - Once a faithful servant of Kasuren, but set free because of their in depth involvment, Touki is a cunning and heartless when it comes to anyone and anything else. Starting out as a normal and happy little girl, the evil Touki was released in the form of a beautiful woman with frightening spider appendages and a thirst for human blood. She joined up with Kasuren once again when she desired to gain his seed to have powerful children to take over the Planes.. the little girl Touki, however, remained trapped in servatude of her other self.

Shou - The Oldest Child

Shou - First son of Kasuren and Touki

Kou - The Middle Child

Kou - Second son of Kasuren and Touki

Nou - The Youngest Child

Nou - Third child (only daughter) of Kasuren and Touki

Kagen

Kagen - A former warrior of the upper plane and an assistant to the mysterious Enzeru, his motivations are unknown and the only one he is known to associate with from the middle plane is... believe it or not... Reza.

Konchu - Priestess Form

Konchu - Created by Touki from the body of a slaughtered priestess and her very own spider essense, Konchu is a very loyal and unquesting slave.. on the surface. When made to use her skills for for Kasuren and whatever Touki needed, she quickly grew to hate them both, wanting to be free to live her life with her beloved Shonga. Konchu has the amazing ability to transform herself into countless spiders, as well as her arrows when they pierce an object.

Konchu - Spider Form

Shonga

Shonga - A compilation of humans, demons, ones from the upper plane, the lower plane, and everything else in between, this supposedly horrid being actually opposes kasuren and only serves him so that he wont tear him apart from his beloved Konchu.

Reza

Reza - probably the most unusual character of the entire story, Reza is not so much a villian as she is a great big pest. She uses leangthy scrolls and writes down every imperfection of any other she comes across in the most hilarious way and also makes exact paper copies of them. Reza loved Kagen from the moment she met him, and stalked him until he loved her back. ^_^;

Kasuren's Father

Kasuren's Father - An ancient god of the shadow, he killed Yu Jr.'s father over 1,000 years ago, and is known to have clashed with gods on more then one occasion, it is unknown why he created Kasuren... (More Info to come in Memories of the Past)
